Activity is intense in this well, as within the next few days, the production figures for the Margarita plant will be known. Repsol, acting as a partner of YPFB, has just finished testing the new modules which would allow a significant increase of the processing capacity of the Margarita Plant.
When the drilling analysis results of the MGR-5 are finally revealed, it is expected the plant should be able to produce 15 million cubic meters of natural gas per day (MMmcd) (Energy Press, September 9th, 2013). The well is equipped with an MMA 7-1/16" x 7-1/16" 10M stainless Steel Production Tree with its production branches. It is also equipped with a Surface Safety System (SSS) complete with hydraulic master and wing valves.
